Computational Biology

The Biology Department at Temple University has become a premier destination for graduate studies in computational biology, particularly computational evolutionary genomics. Between the Center for Computational Genetics and Genomics and the Institute for Genomics and Evolutionary Medicine, the department has 10 research active tenure track faculty members working in the area, providing a rarely matched concentration in this area. Formal course work in bioinformatics, genomics, and different areas of computational biology complements the research opportunities the department offers. Feel free to contact individual faculty members for further information, including David Liberles and Jody Hey.
